SITE INSPECTOR / BCAR ENGINEER - CIVIL/STRUCTURAL - DUBLIN
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The role will involve visiting a variety of different sites weekly,
predominantly in the Greater Dublin/ Leinster area.
Attending multiple sites on a weekly basis to carry out BCAR or
general inspections on civil engineering works (drainage, water,
roads, foundations, etc.).
Compiling clear and concise reports following inspections and
returning to Contractor promptly for action.
Follow up inspections as required.
Liaising with Contractors, Local Authority representatives, Irish
Water representatives to trouble shoot construction issues with civil
designs on-site.
Responding to RFIs and submittals regarding civil engineering queries
on designs, working with design colleagues as required to get the
information and/ or drawings required.
Assisting civil and structural colleagues to resolve civil engineering
issues and queries during construction phase.
REQUIREMENTS
5+ years relevant experience
Chartership (or close to achieving Chartership) with a Level 8 or
equivalent qualification in Engineering.
Good knowledge and awareness of civil engineering design and
construction.
Current Safe Pass and other relevant Safety in Construction
qualifications.
Full clean drivers licence.
